Ron Prosor
Head of the Abba Eban Institute
Ambassador Ron Prosor head the Abba Eban Institute of International Diplomacy at the IDC Herzliya.
Prior to joining the IDC, Prosor served as Israel’s 16th Permanent Representative to the United Nations from 2011 – 2015 and Israeli Ambassador to the UK between 2007-2011. Between 2004 and 2007, Mr. Prosor served as the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, overseeing Israel’s 2005 disengagement from Gaza.
In 2017 Mr. Prosor was awarded The Scholar-Statesman Award by the Washington Institute of Near East Policy.
A prolific writer and commentator, Mr. Prosor’s op-eds have appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Foreign Policy, The Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Telegraph, The Guardian, Newsweek Ha'aretz, and The Jerusalem Post.

Lea Landman
Head of Diplomacy

Léa Landman is a policy advisor for the public and private sectors specializing in public policy, defense and foreign affairs for more than 15 years.
Léa is currently heading the Diplomacy 2030 program at the Abba Eban Institute of International Diplomacy at IDC Herzliya. She is also the Co-Founder and Chairperson of Women in International Security (WIIS) – Israel, which works to increase the number and influence of young women in foreign, defense and security-related affairs in Israel. Léa is presenting the debate show, Les Ambassadeurs, on i24News in French.
Previously, Léa was deputy director of the Herzliya Conference Series on Israel National Security and a research fellow at the Institute for Policy and Strategy, IDC, Herzliya and worked as a defense consultant in the UK.
Léa holds a BA in History and Political Science from Tel-Aviv University, and graduated with a MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science. 

Daniel Cohen
Head of Diplomatic Counterterrorism
Visiting Fellow
Experience: 10 years’ experience in Influence operations, cyber security, terrorist organizations and their use of web & social media, strategic offensive capabilities of cyberspace, information warfare, and Counter Terrorism
Previous role: research fellow and coordinator of the cyber security program at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS)
Education: MSc in Security Studies from Tel Aviv University.
He served in the IDF as a combat fighter and a commander in an elite unit.

Raffi Shamir

Experience: 15 years’ experience in press and public relations, specializing in public sector and diplomacy.
Previous role: Director of Media and Press for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Media Advisor for the Ministry of Regional Cooperation, Press Officer and Political Advisor for the British Embassy in Israel and Deputy Spokesman for the Jerusalem Municipality..

Oded Raanan
Visiting Fellow
Oded Raanan serves as the editor of "The Arena" - Journal of Diplomacy and International Relations. Before joining the Abba Eban Institute, he worked on the foreign news desk of "Ha'aretz". He is a PhD candidate in International Relations at the Central European University (CEU) in Budapest, and holds an MA in Middle Eastern Studies from Ben-Gurion University.

Anat Orenstein
Office Manager
Anat gained years of experience in media production and broadcasting TV in Israel, specializing in post-production. She was the Chief Producer and then the General Manager of Channel 24, and was the Office Manager of the Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister.
