Prof. Uriel Reichman, President and Founder of IDC Herzliya, said: "Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Gilead was selected to head IPS at IDC Herzliya. Gilead has an impressive record of achievements after decades of public service, where he acted impeccably to preserve and strengthen Israel's security and stature. Many of his impressive accomplishments are not public knowledge, and have granted him the gratitude of the chiefs of Israel's defense apparatus. IDC is glad to have Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Gilead join its ranks. We are confident that with his leadership, IPS will bear a significant contribution to research.
I wish to express my gratitude and that of IDC Herzliya to Prof. Alex Mintz for heading, with great skill and dedication, IPS and cemented its position as one of the leading institutes in its field. During Prof. Mintz's term, IPS has reached significant milestones while cementing the Herzliya conference as a prestigious and leading stage for debate over national security and strategy.
I wish Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Gilead and Prof. Mintz success in their endeavors".
